Observing the battle from a distance, the Local Heroes resolve to rescue Kid and take their Stones back. Remembering his team's past words of encouragement, Kid rushes into the crossfire to clear up the misunderstanding. He eventually notices that the five invaders each display one of the Stones' powers, and realizes that they only came to Earth to recover their corresponding Stones, and not invade the planet.
While an elite new squad of government-sponsored superheroes faces down an alien threat, Kid begins to wonder if he's misjudged the entire situation.Īs the five secret operatives (a self-proclaimed "Earth Force Enforcement Force") take on the power of the Stones to battle the incoming alien invasion, Kid watches dejectedly from a distance.
